About Me
Well, I'm the creator of the site. I guess I'll just tell you who I am, and how it all started (my love for the BSB).
My name is Zehra. I live in Buffalo, NY (yes, the place with all the crazy weathers). I go to a private school (that's why I don't have as much time to update, I get loads of work). I've like BSB for around 3 years. And I'll tell you my little story on that. (if you don't wanna hear it, I suggest that you leave cause that's he only thing I'm gonna talk about)
I was at my cousins house and I was looking at all of their posters. And I saw one of them was with five guys. I saw the name. Backstreet Boys. I never heard of them. (remember , this is like before their cd came out in the U.S.) I thought they all looked kinda ugly (lol, trust me, it was a bad pic), except the tall guy in the back with almost black hair. (who I soon found out was Kevin.)
I asked my cousins who they were. (by the way, my cousins are from Europe). they said they were a popular band back in Europe that sang popish music. I decided that I wasn't gonna like them. I see boy bands come and go. I knew it was gonna be the same routine. They have one, maybe two singles, eveyone drools over them, then about a month later no one remembers them. I figured it was a waste to like them if they weren't gonna stick around for a while.
Then a few months later I was listening to my fave (at that time) radio station, Kiss 98.5. And they played this song. I absolutely loved it! It had a cool beat to it. BUT THEY DIDN'T SAY WHO THE ARTIST WAS! Everyday (well, almost everyday, lol) on the way home from school I'd listen to the radio on my walkman, hoping that they would play that song. The song that I loved. And they would, but they didn't say the artists name each time. So, evey time I heard that song, I'd say to myself, "Ok, today I'll call the station and ask for the artists name."
But then they stopped playing... I was really sad...and pissed off! My sister had just got married and moved to Turkey. (FAR from Buffalo...lol) but she visits often. She visited, and we went out shopping. We went to The Wall (a music store) and looked at the cds. She held up the Backstreet Boys cd and said she was gonna get. She asked me if I wanted it, but I said no. Then she started listing some of the tracks. She was like "Well, We've Got it goin' on is here, As long as you love me, quit playing games with my heart" and right there I ripped the cd out of her hand. I was like "QUIT PLAYING GAMES WITH MY HEART????" She was like, "yeah..." I was all excited. the song I loved. The song they don't play on the radio anymore!!!!
When we got home, that was the only cd I listened to. Then soon the next version came out. I HAD to get it. My sister told me I was crazy. She said "you're buying a cd for ONE MORE SONG???" That extra song was "Backstreet's Back."
Then, to add to my craziness, while I was in a store, i saw magazines with BSB on them!!! That's where my collection started. Those first three magazines. Every month I bought about 10 magazines...
Well, that was the beginning. I've gone to 7 concerts in the past two years.I drove to Detriot, To Toronto, to Ottowa...just to see my Boys... I said I'd go anywhere for them, and I mean it. (unless my dad gets in my way, lol) And the closest I've gotten to them was wen Kevin held my hand in the Ottowa concert... It was a dream come true.
However, Kev isn't my fave anymore. He still holds a special place in my heart, but AJ is my fave now. I think we go much better together, lol.
Well, that's all that I can think about to say. I don't even know why I put this on my site. I guess some people like to know who did the site...
See ya, and thanks for visiting my site.
